- There is an amazing spice garden which attracts many tourists. It is located 14km northeast of Stone Town, the historical part of the capital city of Zanzibar. We're going to visit it!
- You can see some amazing plants in the garden. For example, tall clove trees, cardamom and ginger. You will also see cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, lemongrass, chilli pepper and many other spices
- There are also limes, bananas, durian, coconuts, pineapples, carambola and Zanzibar apples growing on the farm. In the spice garden grows local coffee Robusta as well as cacao.
- You will also have a unique chance to taste local dishes made with these spices. Including the famous Pilau here. It is usually rice, vegetables and meat cooked in a seasoned broth.
