- We will start from picking you up from your hotel in Arusha. In Mto wa Mbu we will have a choice on how to brighten up our way to Massai Boma, we will be able to take bicycles familiar to Europeans or on a traditional local transport called tuk-tuk.
- During our tour, we will see how the ancient Boma tribe lives, what secrets the representatives of this ancient people keep. We will not only listen to an interesting story about the history of this tribe, but we will also have the opportunity to make traditional Maasai tribal tattoos, or try some milk of local cows.
- We will find out how the ancient African tribe uses such achievements of civilization as a perfect irrigation system, with help of which they grow their own food, including 32 varieties of bananas!
- We will definitely visit the local market, where we will learn how skillful woodcarvers work, and we will be able to purchase their goods.
- There you can buy local fruits and vegetables, and while you explore exotic goods, I will explain how everyday life in the city works and teach you how to say “Mto Wa Mbu” correctly.
- After such a fruitful day we will have lunch, drink banana beer and try the local cuisine.
And after a hearty lunch we will drive to Balaa Hill, where we will be able to see with our own eyes the amazing landscapes of the valley, Lake Manyara, the city of Mto wa Mbu. - In addition, during our half-hour walk, we will have the opportunity to explore the local flora and fauna.
- At the end of the excursions we will take you back to the hotel.
- Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, camera and some cash.
- Included: guide, transfer, lunch, water, bicycle fee.
- In Tanzania a tip is expected after a tour. This tip is not included in your package. If you are happy with your tour, the recommended amount for a guide is 20 USD a day, which can be divided by all your group members.
