5 days experience through the Sahara

Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat - Meknes - Fez

• On this day we will start our tour of Morocco. I'll pick you up at your hotel, airport or wherever in Casablanca. 
• The first thing we'll do is head to Fez, we'll pass by Rabat, the capital of the country. Rabat is one of the great cities of Morocco. Here you will see the best sights of the city, such as the Hassan Tower, Chellah and others.
• Then we will continue to Meknes. We will visit places of interest such as the Bab Mansour Gate built by the Sultan Moulay Ismail and discover quiet and picturesque courtyards and alleyways. We will walk through the ancient medina of Meknes and see El Hedim Square. 
• In the afternoon we will travel to Fez for rest, dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional Riad in the heart of the medina.

Day 2: Sightseeing in Fez

• After breakfast, we will set off on a walking tour of Fez. Here we will first visit the medina and see the architecture. 
• During the tour we are sure to see many incredible sights: the Dar El Makhzen or Royal Palace with its colourful mosaicked architecture & golden doors. 
• Visit the Jewish Quarter (Mellah). Visit famous Chaouwara tannery – the city's largest tannery built in the 11th century. 
• We will see or visit Kairaween Mosque. However if you don't follow the Muslim faith you wont be able to go inside, but you always can just admire the courtyard of the mosque.
• You will have time for lunch at a local Moroccan restaurant. Afterwards, we will go for a walk through the picturesque streets and markets. Then I will take you to a panoramic viewpoint with amazing views of the city, dinner and an overnight stay at the same Riad in the medina.

Day 3: Fez - Ifrane - Cedar Forest - Atlas Mountains - Ziz Valley - Merzouga - Exploring the Sahara Desert

• After breakfast we leave Fez and drive through the Atlas Mountains. We will stop in the town of Ifrane, also called the 'Switzerland of Morocco'. 
• We will also stop in a Cedar Forest where we can see monkeys. 
• After lunch we will head to the Sahara Desert, passing small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley. 
• Afterwards, we'll see the incredible sand dunes at Merzouga, where we can ride camels. Here we will also admire an amazing sunset in the middle of the sand dunes. 
• Dinner and overnight at the camp in the desert by the campfire, listen to the music of the locals under the magical sky.

Day 4: Merzuga - Rissani - Tinghir - Todra Valley - Dades Valley

• In the morning we will admire the beautiful sunrise. After breakfast and shower, we will return by camel or car to Merzouga and from there we will travel to the town of Rissani. We will stroll through a large market and inspect locally produced goods.
• Later we will head to Tinghir and have lunch on the way. Admire the stunning views of the Todra Valley and walk through the gorge with its orange cliffs! The canyons of Todra are almost 1,000 feet deep and it's also a favourite spot for climbers. 
• We will end our day with a tour of the Dades Valley, dinner and overnight stay in a traditional Riad.

Day 5: Boumalne Dades - Valley of Roses - Ouarzazate - Marrakech

• On this day we will pass by the incredible Valley of Roses. We will visit Ouarzazate, also known as the 'Hollywood of Africa'. Here we will stop to take pictures and visit the world famous 'Atlas studios'.
• We will then visit breathtaking locations where many famous films have been shot and have lunch in a local restaurant. 
• In the afternoon we head to Marrakech. Along the way we will make stops to enjoy stunning views of the Atlas Mountains. In Marrakech, I drop you off at your accommodation or other place and conclude the tour.
